Liam's first dip in the pool!

Nana and Grandpa John gave us baby-swimmer diapers and a float at my step-sister, Heather's baby shower last year. We realized we had them as we were leaving for Jellystone Park. They were put to good use. At first, the water was very chilly, and every time we tried to put Liam in the pool, he would pull his legs up and shiver! Finally, he warmed up in the sun and was ready to try it out. As you can see, it took a few minutes for him to realize what was happening, and gave him a very wild hair style!

William and Eric

We actually went to high school with Eric. He is a firefighter as well, so it is always cool to hang out with him and his family and laugh about "olden days!" He and Heather threatened to bring the 80"s Trivia game next time. I already told them that William and I will dominate at the 80's game! We know a thing or 2 about the 80's. Yes, William wore Drakar and I owned hoop-earrings larger than my head! We also both had our favorite pairs of parachute pants. The challenge is on!

Reagan!

This is Eric & Heather's youngest. Reagan is 3, and will not let you take a photo until she decides on the perfect pose first!

The kids watching a movie in the camper.

The girls had a T.V. in their bedroom, so Logan watched a movie with them Saturday night while they were winding down!

Jellystone Park

Our good friends Eric, and Heather just purchased a brand new beautiful, HUGE, 2 bedroom, full bathroom, absolutely cool camper. They took their 3 daughters to Jellystone park in Waller and asked us to bring the boys and come hang out. This park had a water park, 2 swimming pools, miniature golf, petting zoo, 2 stocked lakes to fish, rental cabins, campgrounds, and a full daily itinerary. They have the Pledge of Allegiance and flag raising at 9:00am with Yogi the Bear, hayride at 10:00am, activities throughout the day like crafts for the kids, and a child friendly movie at dusk on a huge screen outside. The kids sit on logs and watch the movie. We planned on staying for the day, but ended up renting a really cool cabin and stayed until Sunday. Our cabin had a master bedroom, A/C, full kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, bunk beds, futon, T.V. w/cable, electric remote controlled fire place (we didn't need it!) and full bathroom. We also had a screened in porch. Very cool! It is about 45 minutes away if we take FM359, and everyone with kids should go. Everyone around us had children and everyone was very quiet. Very child-friendly park and everyone was friendly!

Logan eating.....ummm, something?

Photo-op over, I'm either eating this or the bunny!

Posted by Picasa

My eyes are going to be red, and I will eat the bunny!

Notice the bow on the bunny has already been removed! Poor bunny!

If his eyes were not so red we could have used this one!
