We really had an awesome visit! This picture includes Cousin Chris. She is such an incredible host! We enjoyed visiting with them and they made us feel so welcome! Thank you again!

Cool House!!!

Uncle Oscar & Aunt Connie's house was bulit in the 1930's. It was originally built as somewhat of a conutry club. It was used to wine and dine individuals from the the North to buy land in the valley. They have old black and white photos hanging up when the house was used for that purpose. Very beautiful home, and we love visiting them! They have so many birds (including owls) and snakes! Uncle Oscar likes to name the varmints that stick around. On our way out we met Charlie (the snake!)

We are on our way home.

We stopped by William's cousin's house on our way home. They were so nice, they made quiche and salad for lunch and invited us to stay and join them. I will post more photos soon. (long drive, and it's late!)

We were so happy that Grandma & Grandpa Alden were with us. The kids were happy as well!

Yes, mosquittos really were bad!

We really didn't mind too much. We were so happy to visit Aunt Connie & Uncle Oscar! Liam ran all over their yard! Logan enjoyed the visit too. He remembered our last visit when we stayed with them and went to Mexico. Aunt Connie was our "guide!" We never could have had as much fun without her! He also remembered Uncle Oscar taking him outside to shoot the BB gun. Logan loved it! Shortly after the last visit, Logan got his very own BB gun! I will try to post pics from our last visit this week.

Logan assisting in running after Liam!

They have a very long driveway, but Liam's little legs move very quick! Logan was a huge help in chasing after his little brother!

Daddy & Liam exploring Uncle Oscar & Aunt Connie's property!

They have alot of land. William took Liam out exploring (like he did when we brought Logan down last time.) I think mosquittos are attracted to sweet baby skin because they all came out and attacked him! Not to worry, Sunday we came back and Uncle Oscar put cream on Liam's bites and everything was fine! We really love it here, and we are already planning our next visit!

William & his boys chillin on the boarder!

We arrived before William's parents, so we were able to utilize the pool for a bit. We all stayed at the same hotel and visited with his parents when they arrived. The next morning, we all went to visit Aunt Connie & Uncle Oscar. Aunt Connie is William's mother's sister. It was great to see them, but she was not feeling very well that day. She has cancer and was experiencing a bad day (she has her good and bad days.) William's cousins, Oscar Jr & Chris arrived later with their family and brought dinner. We visited and the food was fantastic. Aunt Connie was able to visit for brief momments.

Chris & Oscar invited us to swim at their home afterwards and visit. We had a great visit. They made fajittas and rice, beans, guacamole, etc. Chris has a nephew, Joey who is the same age as Liam. She invited them and the kids swam and played in Joey's cool tent. Very nice visit!

Road Trip!!!

We took the kiddos to the boarder (Mexico) this weekend. William has relatives in Mcallen and Donna Texas who have never met Liam and have not seen Logan since our last trip to Mexico. His Aunt Connie is very sick and not doing well, so we really wanted to see them while she was still able to visit. This picture is of the kiddos when we left. Logan brought his DVD player along with Liam's "Thomas the Train" DVD. We made it to the boarder in 5 hours! William's parents left when we did and we met them at our hotel (2 hours later...I think William's foot is a bit heavier than his dad's on the gas!)

Daddy & Liam!

See...his "look at mommy" finger is going off again. I need to find a way to get photos without using the LAM pointer (Look At Mommy) We had fun once again, and we want to thank William and his station for having us. I know we held up dinner for a bit but we appreciate everyone welcoming us. Logan is really loving this. We all are! Thanks Station 16!

The guys!

Hahahahaha...crazy kids!

Poor William...most of the photos I take with him holding Liam consist of him pointing and saying "look at mommy!" Same pose, we need to find a way for Liam to look without William having to point!

Sammy & Logan at the firestation.

Logan's best bud (since Kindergarten!) came to the station to visit William with us and we brought yummy little cheesecakes (thanks Nana for the recipe!) The kids loved running around and watching firetrucks come and go. Very exciting day! Logan really feels right at home here!

Liam thanks Nana for the pudding idea!

I was on the phone with my Mother and all of a sudden the house grew quiet and Liam was in stealth mode. I was concerned, as he is very destructive these days, and searched the house. I found him sitting in his pj's on the dining room table next to the bananna pudding Logan's buddy Sammy left out. He had the stuff in his hair, toes, arms, and a huge grasp of Nilla wafers and pudding in his hand on it's way to his mouth. Sure it was kinda cute, but the camera was not close by. Nana suggested I give him his own serving of pudding and take photos. This is the result. FYI, Logan does not like to eat pudding flavored by Liam's toes.
