Halloweened out!

Once again, the Alden boys thought they could over throw the Alden Empire. Shortly after Tigger (Liam) spat out his pacifier in defiance, Logan crashed out from a sugar-induced episode. Liam gave up early, Logan gave up and fell fast asleep by 9:30.

Alden boys = 0
Alden Empire = 2
Let's see if the Alden Empire can continue this winning streak!!! Go Alden Empire!!!!!

On another note, I finally submitted my law school app tonight before the Nov. 1st early deadline. Everyone please say lots of prayers. I really want U of H. Farrell and Allison, be ready for many questions and words of advice! Nana, thanks for the short notice editing! Farrell, thank you for all you help as well (Super star!) I'll keep everyone posted.
I also wanted to mention, rather than research the winning weight of the pumpkin, I am drawing names from a bowl. Stand by.....after I feed Tigger, the winner will be announced. The winner can just email me a link and I will make that a posting for the week! Stand by, results to follow...... Posted by Picasa

Liam enjoying Logan's soccer game

Ok, as you can clearly see, Liam wasn't up to sports last weekend. Thank God, Nana was in town and strolled Liam around during the game. Yippee for Nana! Yippee for Logan as well, his team won and it was a very exciting game. They are finally at that competitive age and many kiddos ended up eating grass during that game...but not my child :) Posted by Picasa

Guess the weight of the pumpkin

Logan entered a contest to guess the weight of the pumpkin above. I think he said he guessed 457 pounds. The winner gets all kinds of cool goodies...including a couple of nights stay at Kemah. I would have guessed 500 pounds...anyone have any other guesses? I will post the actual weight when they announce it on Halloween. Let's do this...everyone post a comment with your guess and if you come the closest to the actual weight of the pumpkin I will post the winner's name and message and/or photo of choice in fancy font (large letters) . The winner can email me whatever photo/caption they would like me to post. (ex. photos of pets, kids, funny emails, etc) Come on guys, send in your guesses (mine will be 500 pounds and Logan's guess is 457) You could win your very own blogg posting!!!! :) Posted by Picasa

Logan feeding the stingrays again

Logan is still a little uneasy about the stingrays, but once again he enjoyed feeding them. We explained that the barbs had been trimmed way back and these stingrays are very comfortable around people.  Posted by Picasa

Liam feeding the stingrays again

This was Liam's second time to feed the stingrays. Once again, he had a blast. He had so much fun, it was hard to pull him away from the stingray tanks. He's getting pretty good at this! Posted by Picasa

Grrrrrrrrr!

Got any more fish?

Feeding the stingrays again

It seems that many of the children are now afraid of stingrays. This is apparent by the way the children were setting the fish on the edges and running.  Posted by Picasa

Catfish are gross

When we went to Kemah, we ate at Joe's Crabshack. The table we sat at overlooked the catfish. If you look at the water below, those are all catfish (The things that look like little waves) Logan kept throwing garlic bread over at them and they were going nuts! I kept worrying that he would fall over into the sea of catfish...and one of us would have to jump in after him. (women and children are off the hook right?) Glad I ordered the lobster and crab pasta!  Posted by Picasa

Liam at the Fire Fest

We took the boys to the fire fest on Saturday. Logan had a school carnival that morning, next we came here, we ended the day in Kemah. The fire fest has music, bbq, fire trucks, crafts, more fire trucks, moon walks, fire demonstrations, (more fire trucks) etc. This was our second year to make it out. Liam had a blast (can't you tell?) Posted by Picasa
