Liam's 4 month birthday!
Liam has his doctor appointment Tuesday, so I will update his weight, height, etc. Right now, he is starting to recognize voices, loves making different noises as if talking, loves to make Logan laugh, and wants to sit and stand on his own real bad. If you hold his hands, he tries to pull himself into a sitting position. If you hold behind his shoulders and pull him upright, he locks his legs and you can pull him into a standing position. He can also hold small objects for small amounts of time. We think he may be cutting a tooth! He drools all the time and we think we see litte white teeth buds on the top coming in! He sleeps through the night and is much more playful when awake. Tonight he is sleeping in his room for the first time :)

Liam and the girls!
The red line!
Daddy pulled out one of the trucks and let Logan use the red line. It defintaly works-hence the water dropplets on the camera! This was not the most powerful line (the one that will knock you down from the pressure) and it was not the "green line" (garden hose) it was somewhere in the middle and Logan really enjoyed it!
Future firefighters!
The Thanksgiving after-party!!!
After dinner, the boys and I drove to the station to see Daddy! It's amazing that after he has worked there over 12 years, I still love hanging out there. The trucks and ambulance absolutely amaze me. They are so huge in person and it is incredible that they cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and are capable of doing so much. I feel so small when I stand next to them! Logan grew up around the fire station and Liam will get to do the same!
Diana and Liam
This is a wonderful family friend of ours, Diana. She is a friend of my Aunts who we grew up around. As a matter of fact, when I was in my late teens I had to ask my mom what our relation to Diana was. I just knew she had to be a Great Aunt, 2nd cousin, etc. I was very surprised to hear she was a family friend. She has been here for all our milestones...every holiday, my marriage, my brother's marriage, my mom's marriage, and birth of all our babies! The last time I saw her was at the baby shower Farrell held for me. It was such a great shower and does not seem that long ago! Diana was very shocked to see how big my "little preemie" was. She expected a tiny fragile baby!
The boys with Grandpa Alden
William worked on Thanksgiving, so the boys and I went to Aunt Judy & Uncle Mikes (Which we have done every year except for 2 years ago when Logan, William and I went to Mexico.)
The fire station planned on serving dinner in the evening, and this was early afternoon, so we were able to do both.
This is William's dad. He recently had heart surgery and was not able to get out much afterwards (around the time Liam was born.) He's out, and about now...but now Grandma Alden has been in the hospital. Since Grandma Alden was in the hospital, and William was working, my father-in-law came to Thanksgiving with my family. He has known everyone there for over 15 years, so he knew he was in good company! He was happy to see the boys again, and we were so glad he made a speedy recovery and was able to join us.
During Grace, Uncle Mike said a special prayer thanking God that Grandpa Alden was able to be with us among family and friends. He also added that next year, hopefully, Grandma Alden will be able to jon us. He included another prayer for Liam (our "miracle baby!!") to which Liam let out a loud vocal blurb agreeing! He also prayed for William to be safe at work tonight as well as my Step Father and brother as they are firfighters also. Uncle Mike says grace every year and always manages to jerk up a few tears! Amen for Thanksgiving!!!

Liam at almost 4 months
Logan Baby Pics
I always tell people that Liam looks a lot like Logan did when he was a baby. For those who may have forgotten what Logan looked like (10 years ago!) Here are a couple of pictures of Logan in Boston. I think Logan was 6 months this first visit. Mom, please correct me if I'm wrong, it was so long ago! You can see it most in the shape of the head, the eyes, and ears!

Galveston with Nana
Happy Liam
Logan, Liam and I tried to visit Nana and Grandpa John at the beach last Saturday. I got all the way to the ferry landing and William called to say I had his car keys in my diaper bag. He had to be at the fire station by 6:30am the next morning, so we stayed in Galveston for dinner, then had to go home... :(
