The Bumbo chair!!!

We finally purchased one of those Bumbo chairs for Liam. We realized that he was happier sitting upright when he was awake. Earlier today, we put him in his bouncer chair while we were doing things in the kitchen. He was wide awake, and could not see us well when he was laying in the bouncer. As long as he can see what everyone is doing, he is fine. I ended up holding him upright with one arm and trying to clean the kitchen with the other. William finally said "Let's try one of those Bumbo chairs!" Needless to say, I immediately jumped in the truck and went to Babies R Us. This thing is great. He was able to sit up and watch us, and play with a toy. I was worried that he would not be able to hold himself up well enough, but he really enjoyed this thing! I researched this and the Beebeepod (sp?) and reviews were better for the Bumbo. Has anyone had experience with either of these chairs? Did we select the right brand? Is this thing really as wonderful as it seems on day 1?
