Logan and I were very excited to see this! This was where Pirate Jean Lafitte lived and set fire to when asked to leave Galveston. This is all that is left now. This is the stairs and a partial wall. It is said that he burried his loot somewhere on Galveston Island and it has never been found! Ok, the girl that worked at the theater had a good point. He knew he was not allowed back, or had any plans of coming back...he probably would not have burried it in Galveston. Cool story though, and Logan is ready to start digging!
Note...The employee also told us after individuals purchased the property, it mysteriously burned to the ground except for what is shown in this photo. wooooooooooo! -boo!
