First cereal feeding

We tried giving Liam cereal for the first time. He was so excited to eat like us at first, but could not grasp the "sitting up, eating off a spoon, and swallowing routine." Quickly, he became very upset because he knew it was just not working correctly! We finally called it a night, I nursed him, and we decided to put it off for a few days. We think he may not be ready yet since he was born early. He sure gave it his best shot though! (fyi...his 4 month appt was great. He is 14 lbs, 15 oz and the doctor said everything is going great! The doctor was amazed by his growth, and said he has far exceeded what was expected of him! Yippee for breast milk!!! I will post all his percentiles tomorrow, they are donwstairs and I am am not!)
