Valentine's Day

It is so hard to find a sitter on Valentine's day. We still had a great time. We had steak & lobster and hung out with the kiddos. Logan set the table, put a bottle of wine out, lit a candle, and drank his milk out of a wine glass. So fancy! We really enjoy hanging out with our kiddos. We also got cozy in the living room and watched the movie "Happy Feet." Awesome day :)

Our cats don't have eyes, they each have a tiny set of headlights! They are so strange!

Cat Fight!!!

This photo is funny. You can tell which cat won the squabble...the one in the cat tree giving the "evil glare" lost! These cats are so fun!!!

Liam, Brown Bear, and Blue Bear think biking rocks!!!

Posted by Picasa

I like to ride my bicycle, I like to ride my bike!

Yes "Queen" fans, I am biking again!!! I can not say enough what a fun and super easy work out this is! Everyone should jump on a bike and zip around the block. Bring your kids and it will encourage them to work out and allows everyone to have family time and catch up on the day, week, year, etc...keep in mind the ipod is only cool when -sans kiddos! This is a great time to talk with your children and spouse while burning some serious calories!!! I like to ride my bicycle!!!

Ahhhhhh, yes! Biking again!!! :)

Those of you that know me well also know that biking is one of my favorite extracurricular activities in the world!!! I FINALLY purchased a trailer that I can attach to my bike. I really have no idea why I waited so long, but I am biking again and super happy!!! I plan on biking every day just like I used to! This time however, my kiddos (and hubby when he is home from the fire station) will join me! I am so happy at the thought, I absolutely love biking! When William & I were still just dating, he surprised me one day (while he was home on leave from the Army) with my bike. It is a Hurricane Schwinn and it is purple and it is one of my best friends!!! We have raced annually for almost a decade at a bike race in our neighborhood to raise money for our neighborhood fire dept. I actually came in 2nd place for my age group when I was prego with Liam! Now, Liam brings his "brown bear," and "blue bear!" Logan bikes with us and I try to keep up with him (while hauling 30 pounds of Liam!) My bike rocks!!! :)

Julia having a great hair day!

Why does it feel like Julia and I spent the entire day in the kitchen cooking? At least she was having a super great hair day! :)

ugly, ugly, super ugly Croc! Yes, I did it!

I swore I would never own these super ugly Croc shoes....anyway, here is a picture of my new Croc addition to my family! Mammoth Crocs to be exact! I was at Academy looking for a trailer to attach on my bike so I can start biking again with Liam when I come home from work. I passed these suckers 3 times thinking "wow, soooooo ugly!" Ok, the 3rd time I walked by I actually tried them on out of curiosity and WOW...by far the most comfortable things to ever touch my feet! I plan to go back and get a pair for William, Logan, and Liam! Soooooo cozy! (but still kinda ugly...I'm cool with it!) Do any Croc owners have any input? Why didn't anyone tell me how super cozy these suckers are?

Me and Julia...and 3D glasses! (lol)

William & Julia...yup, and 3D glasses!

We had a few people over and cooked steaks and watched the game (really for the commercials!) With Liam being in his "2 year old stage" of life, things are just easier when we keep him at home! We get to keep his nap, meals, bath, bedtime routine on schedule and eventually when he goes to bed we can relax and visit with company! Thank you Julia for suggesting the mini-get-together, we enjoyed it!

Liam and 3D glasses...again!

Ha-ha, he loved wearing those things! Apparently we did as well because the majority of my blog updates include someone wearing those goofy glasses!

Another Liam school photo!

Liam's speech therapists have been coming to his daycare about 3 times a week. We hired 2 different therapists and one comes out once a week, the other comes out twice a week. We are thinking of just keeping the twice a week therapist because he is doing so well! He "sings" he can point out alphabet letters and say them. He loves talking to Logan (and bossing him around!)
He says "Come here O-gan..." and will push Logan where he wants him to sit and play with him. He will also pull on "O-gan's" pants and say "Sit O-gan, sit down!" Yes, he is the boss of us right now, and Logan just loves to hear his little brother finally call him by name. I think we are all enjoying the adjustment to becoming a family of four. Logan loves having his little brother and Liam absolutely loves his coolest oldest brother in the world!

FYI...the daycare told me today...LIAM PUT ANOTHER PEE-PEE IN THE POTTY!!! (sorry, no photos!) They all clapped and made a big deal out of it! Hopefully this is a new thing and he will stick with it.

Logan continues to rock and roll at 6th grade! He made honor roll again. This kid has made honor roll consistently since he started elementary school. I attended a 3 day training class last week with LCISD teachers and staff and found out some individuals were from Logan's school. I introduced myself and found out some of them knew Logan. I met his principal (she is amazing and really loves her kids!) I met the secretary (also amazing) I met a P.E. coach (super sweet) and his math teacher (such a great person!) When they found out who my son was, they all had such genuine and sweet comments. He is very smart (he is in jr AP Math) very polite and never gets in trouble...yippee!!! I was so proud of him. He is also quite popular so I am glad he is so incredible at staying focused on manners and school work. I am so proud of my kids :)
